Allow the unbelievable and impossible to become your reality.
About the Artist
Chanel grew up in northern Minnesota in a lush green rural area in the summer and beautiful northern lights and glistening snow in the winter, which influences the content of her art today. She grew up in a family who loved the arts and a mom who
included her in her work as an interior designer at the early age of five. She
would learn about composition, design, color, and later became her mom’s art and color expert for their clients. During a brief period of homelessness, she realized how important inspirational art and environments were, so she began to learn to paint and started receiving commissions to paint art while still in high school. Chanel obtained a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning where she researched problem solving by interviewing artists who were also working in health and education (who had also experienced trauma). She completed the Mastery Program through the Milan Art Institute. She also obtained a master’s in communication where she studied the experiences of the arts, in addition to studying art with a study abroad arts and humanities tour in Europe.
Illuminate the Unseen and Ignite Intuitive Sight
Illuminate the Unseen
Chanel’s work illuminates what is unseen and
depicts light and possibilities with what some describe as an ethereal and
whimsical feeling. On the surface it appears dream like, but if you look deep
enough, there is the reality of possibility while the art stretches the idea of
what is possible; awakening insight and light creating transformation.
Chanel is also a life and mental
health coach, and she uses her artistic insight and ability to paint pictures
in her mind and on canvas to help her create transformation not just for art
viewers but for her clients in coaching. She also uses her art to ignite the intuitive sight allowing the unbelievable or impossible to become your miraculous, extraordinary reality.
One question Chanel always asks whether it’s during the creation of her art, in
her daily life, or while coaching clients is, “What does your intuition say?”
This is because she knows that intuition does not always follow what is logical or what
we think is possible and neither do her paintings.
Believe in the unseen magic.
Currently
She currently has a studio in Salt
Lake City, Utah with large luxurious windows and elegant floor to ceiling
draperies overlooking mountains with her art covering the walls providing daily
inspiration. She also hangs empty gold frames to inspire the mind to fill them
with ideas to paint, which is a technique she discovered during her bout of
homelessness. She is excited to expand how she uses her art with different home
furnishings, accessories, and fashion to allow the transformational awakening
to become part of the awe-inspiring home and life you create. Chanel plans to
continue to connect her art and coaching endeavors because they both can
promote transformation and extraordinary living.
